William started in the financial services industry in Greenville in 1977. He has been instrumental in planning for some of the Upstate’s most affluent families. He brings a wealth of business experience when assisting affluent leaders seeking clarity in their financial decisions. William acts as the CEO of Family Legacy, Inc. He focuses his time on asset management and specific issues for high net worth clients.
Personal planning based on an individual's values, visions and goals is an everyday passion with William. He brings over thirty years of financial experience to each client's unique situation.

After graduating from the College of Charleston in 1995, Chris began working with William. He received his certified public accountant (CPA) certificate in 1997 and has been a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) since 1999. He acts as COO in running the day to day details of the business. As an accomplished planner and asset manager, Chris has worked with many executives and families nearing retirement, assisting in financial independence projections, estate planning, and asset management.
Chris is blessed with a wife, Beth, and two boys, Elliot and Ian. When not helping others in the business, he enjoys yoga, spending time with his boys and reading everything that can be found. Rumor has it that he’s not a bad cook either.
 Clifford C. Simunek, CPA, MBA, MPACC AccountantCliff made South Carolina his home in 1987. Cliff has a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPACC) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clemson University. He is a CPA and a current member of the AICPA and SCACPA. Cliff serves as our tax manager and is primarily responsible for year-end planning and income tax implications regarding retirement planning. He joined our team in 1995.
His wife Debbie is a native southern belle from South Carolina. Together they enjoy golf and spend their spare time in the outdoors.
 Heather B. McMullinAdministrative Assistant
Heather joined the ranks of Family Legacy, Inc. in October of 2004 as our receptionist. She now works as Chris Brown's assistant.
Prior to this position she worked as an English Instructor at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. She holds a Master’s Degree in English from Eastern Kentucky University. She is, therefore, our resident proofreader.
Heather was married in September 2006 to Brad McMullin. They share their house with two dogs: Blue and Casey.
In her spare time Heather enjoys reading, writing, baking, hiking, camping, and spending time with her friends and family. She makes awesome scones.
Administrative Assistant Jennifer was warmly welcomed to Family Legacy in September of 2006. As William’s assistant, Jennifer is rarely seen, but you’ll find her distinct fingerprints on much of what comes into and goes out of our office. Jennifer was born and raised in Jennifer is married to her high school sweetheart, Scott. She and her husband have only one child: their cat Twerp. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, entertaining and spending time with friends. She’s also unabashedly obsessed with shoes.
 Beth HollerOffice Assistant A graduate of Wofford College, Beth began her professional career with Family Legacy in September of 2007. She is a native of Rock Hill, SC who has decided to stretch her roots and begin a new life here in the lovely city of Greenville. At Wofford she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies for Business and French. Beth is a world traveler and enjoys discovering the flavors and cultures of the globe. She also has to find time for some good ole southern tailgating with her family and friends to celebrate Wofford’s fabulous football season. Her hobbies include cooking, entertaining, and shaggin’ to beach music. |
